What is a track licence & why is it important?
A track licence is a licence granted by Motorcycling NSW and the Office of Sports. This ensures all possible measures are taken to comply with the standards of the sport, as outlined in the track standards.
These guidelines have been set out to enhance the safety of our riders, participants, officials and all other parties. This includes covering events permitted by Motorcycling NSW at a Motorcycling NSW licensed track with public liability insurance.
When is a track licence valid?
- A track licence is only valid in NSW in conjunction with the NSW Sport and Rec MRVG licence.
- A track licence is only valid until the expiration date noted on the licence certificate.
- A track licence is only valid when motorcycling activities are conducted under a Motorcycling NSW Permit and comply with the rules contained in the Manual of Motorcycle Sport.
